Every piece created at Bernard Glassworks is brought to life by hand. Each stained glass panel journeys through many stages, beginning with imaginative ideation and sketching, then evolving into a full-scale “cartoon” or pattern. From selecting and cutting each piece of glass to fitting, painting, and layering color and detail, the process is both meticulous and expressive. We provide a range of specialized techniques—glass fusing, sandblasting, jewel creation, and creation of lead medallions—we’re constantly expanding our skills, pushing each project into new, unexpected, and inspiring territory.
